Hi, I’m Syed Aslam.

I am a software engineer focused on the long haul. I specialize in working with mature Ruby on Rails applications—refactoring legacy systems, debugging complex production issues, and making architecture decisions that stand the test of time.

While I work across the stack with JavaScript and Python, my heart is in the backend, optimizing databases and “choosing boring technology” that lets teams sleep at night.
